Terms

Version 2026-10-07 ยท Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms describe the website and restaurant menu service operated by Dakshsinh Parmar as Experience, Surat, Gujarat. Restaurants accept these terms before we publish their menu, by replying "I agree" on WhatsApp or by email to a message from us that links these terms and names the version by its date. The person who replies confirms that they are authorised to accept these terms for the restaurant. Information for guests appears on the menu and in our privacy notice. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or obligations that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Menus

The restaurant supplies the menu information and must check and approve its prices, descriptions, dietary marks, allergens and nutrition information before publication. It remains responsible for its food, service, the accuracy of the information it supplies and applicable food-law obligations. We publish the approved menu and correct errors we introduce. Guests should confirm allergies and other requirements directly with the restaurant before ordering. This allocation does not exclude duties that the law places on either party.

A menu is a menu, not a shop. Experience takes no orders, holds no payments and makes no reservations; the links on a menu lead to the restaurant's own channels.

Working with us

For restaurants, the first 30 days with Experience are unbilled. We build your first menu with you, on site. The commercial terms that apply after that period are agreed with each restaurant in writing before they take effect; nothing on this website changes them. We work together from the day the restaurant accepts these terms until either of us ends it in writing.

The restaurant retains any rights it owns in the material it supplies. It confirms that it owns that material or has written permission from the rights holder and authority to grant Experience the rights in the licence below. This includes permission to publish and adapt photographs as described below. It must tell us about required credits or other restrictions before publication and provide evidence of permission when requested. We respect authors' rights and honour required credits and restrictions.

By accepting these terms, the restaurant grants us a non-exclusive licence to store and copy that content, to resize, crop and re-encode photographs and strip their technical data, location included, and to communicate the content to the public on its behalf in the menu and in the previews and links that lead to it. The licence covers the whole world, since menus are served over the internet. It lasts while we work together, up to twenty years from the day it was accepted, and ends when the restaurant leaves. It stands whether or not we use any part of it, and does not lapse because a year passes without our using it. It is granted in return for the menu work we do; no royalty or fee is payable for it either way, and it cannot be withdrawn while it lasts. When the restaurant leaves, we delete its menu pages and their earlier versions, its photographs, logo and links, and handle its original files and cached copies as our privacy notice describes. We keep the history of what its menu said, the owner's approvals of it and the restaurant's acceptance of these terms privately, as proof. One permission outlasts the licence, for as long as copyright in the content lasts: we may keep the text of each published menu privately as a record of what we published, subject to applicable law and the personal-data handling described in our privacy notice.

If anyone claims that content infringes their rights or breaks a law, whether or not a suit is ever filed and whether or not we have yet paid anything, the restaurant indemnifies us against the claim and what it costs us to answer it. The restaurant is not required to indemnify us to the extent a claim is caused by our own errors or misconduct. We tell the restaurant promptly, do not settle without asking it, and let it conduct the defence if it wishes. We may change or withdraw the service with notice, and a restaurant may leave at any time; when it leaves, we delete its public menu and handle its data as our privacy notice says.

Sales figures and point-of-sale exports a restaurant shares with us are used only to set up, review and improve that restaurant's menu. We process them with the AI tools our privacy notice names and hold them in our private storage. We keep them in confidence, never combine them with another restaurant's, never publish them, and delete them and our working copies when we part or earlier on request. Remove guest and staff names and phone numbers before sending them.

Use of the site

You may browse menus and share their links freely. We may block access used to interfere with the service, scrape it at scale or send unsolicited messages. The service includes material created by Experience and material used under third-party licences. Restaurant material remains subject to its owners' rights. The Geist font is provided under the SIL Open Font License at /fonts/OFL.txt.

Restaurants must not supply content that is unlawful, misleading, harmful to children, obscene, invasive of privacy, threatening, impersonates another person, infringes someone else's rights or contains malicious code. We may remove content or suspend publication to address a breach of these terms, a security risk or a legal requirement. We report offences when the law requires.

Liability

We do not guarantee increased sales, revenue or profit, or uninterrupted availability.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to a restaurant, including for errors in our own work, is limited to the fees that restaurant paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If no fees were paid during that period, this limit is zero.

These limits do not apply to fraud, death or injury caused by our negligence, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Talk to us first about any dispute. Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or remedy under applicable law, the competent courts at Surat have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between us and the restaurant under these terms. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

Grievances and contact

Questions or complaints about these terms, a menu or this site go to our Grievance Officer, Dakshsinh Parmar, Surat, Gujarat, at hello@experience.place. Please identify the menu or page concerned and explain the issue. We handle complaints within the time limits required by applicable law.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Restaurants we work with are told of any change that affects them, and a restaurant is bound by the version dated in the message it agreed to.
